NYC Women First Kickoff
Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn, together with Deputy Mayor Linda Gibbs, Health Commissioner Thomas Frieden, Health and Hospitals Corporation President Al Aviles, NYC Commission on Women's Issues Chair Anne Fuchs, and Macy's New York Senior Vice President Ed Goldberg, launched the yearlong women's health and outreach campaign encouraging New York City's women to take control of their health.

Kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness month in collaboration with Macy's New York, Speaker Quinn also unveiled Macy's dressing room reminders, urging women to get screened for breast cancer.
