tip 1Have a healthy pregnancy

• Work with your gynecological care provider to plan your pregnancy.
• Get early and regular prenatal care.
• Don't smoke, drink alcohol, or use street drugs while pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you need assistance in finding free or low cost services check with these programs:

Nurse Family Partnership
This is a national program, working here in NYC to help women receive prenatal care who may not be able to afford to pay for services.
