Protect Yourself Against Diabetes
• Exercise regularly.
• Eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day and limit fatty, sugary foods and drinks.
• Maintain a healthy weight.
• Know and control your ABCs (A1C/ blood glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol).

If you do not have a regular care provider or do not have health insurance, you may qualify for free or low-cost services.  Call 311 for more information.  Tell the operator you would like to make an appointment at a health clinic near your neighborhood.
