Get a gynecelogical provider.
• Be sure to have an annual pap test. Get screened for sexually transmitted infections.
• Ask about the HPV vaccine for you and your children.
By seeing your regular gynecological provider, you can have a Pap test to check for cervical cancer or pre-cancer.
If you do not yet have a regular gynecological provider and do not have insurance, call the Women’s Health Line at 311 to find out about a provider near you.
If you have a regular gynecological provider, ask about receiving the HPV vaccine or getting it for your daughters.
