Planned Parenthood NYC

PPNYC offers medical and counseling services to women in NYC at various locations.  They accept many health insurance plans, including Child Health Plus and Medicaid.  Even if you don’t have a health insurance plan, you can call to make an appointment.

This program can help you determine if you can receive free or low cost health insurance.

To get emergency contraception (EC), a.k.a. “the morning after pill�:

Ask your gynecological provider for EC, or call 311 to find out where you can get EC.

Call or visit a Planned Parenthood location in NYC.

Planned Parenthood provides emergency contraception at several locations in the city.  You may receive EC without a prescription.  If you are 18 or older, bring proof of your age.  If you are not 18, you can still receive EC, but must make an appointment with a clinician by calling 212-965-7000 or visiting one of their health centers:
Manhattan: 26 Bleecker Street
Monday: 9am to 4pm
Tuesday - Saturday: 11am to 4pm
Brooklyn: 44 Court Street
Monday - Saturday: 10am to 4pm
Bronx: 349 E. 149th Street
Tuesday - Saturday: 10am to 4pm
