Transportation
- All trucks and vans will be subject to inspection at locations
around the neighborhood. There will be restrictions for trucks and
vans on certain streets.
- Police with bomb sniffing dogs will board each Long Island Rail
Road, Amtrak, and NJ Transit train stop immediately before Penn Station
Street Vendors
Vendors in the immediate vicinity of Madison Square garden will be
restricted throughout the week of the convention.

Secret
Service
- Because the Department of Homeland Security designated the convention
as a National Special Security event, the U.S. Secret Service coordinates
all federal assets and the NYPD directs security, with the Department
of Homeland Security, FBI, and other state and local law enforcements
also participating.
- Precautionary measures that may be used include enforcing security
credentials, security fencing and barricading, and the use of bomb-sniffing
dogs.
- The U.S. Secret Service is responsible for planning, directing,
and executing all security operations.
